Mission Statement

Universal Aid for Children strives to improve the quality of life of thousands of abandoned and displaced children in the Odessa region. The Gospel of Jesus Christ is spread through Christian education and direct aid.  Compassion, care and unconditional love, is our quotient.

Overview of Ministry Activity

Our Odessa program currently serves 22 institutions in the Odessa region.  We presently help support over 2000 children.  The Holy Spirit has worked through our program to allow us to bring the Word of God to hundreds of this forgotten population.  Our Christian staff has reached out and given moral strength and enduring hope to these young people.  By creating a family style atmosphere to those lacking in vital interpersonal relationship, our program caters to the child's emotional and physical well-being.  UAC Ukraine also provides assistance with essential needs such as nutrition, clothing and basic care.  Our outreach has also touched the lives of many in the community, including local professionals and media. Countless hearts and lives have been changed throuh the compassion and care of Christ!

Plans and Goals

The ultimate goal of the program is to build a Christian Mission, which will serve as a base to educate and enrich the lives of the entire population of orphaned youth in the area.  The encompassing structure will also be a retreat and cultural center for at-risk children.  Specialized workshops and programs will cater to the unique problems associated with institutionalized childhood. Traditional and contemporary church services as well as Christian counseling, social protection, and legal advocacy for orphans will be offered.
